Yailiana Leyva, Esq.

Associate

Yailiana Leyva was born in Matanzas, Cuba and raised in Miami, Florida. In 2015, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Florida International University.  Ms. Leyva attended St. Thomas University and graduated Cum Laude in December 2017. While at St. Thomas University, she served as Judicial Intern for the Honorable Marisa Tinkler Mendez at the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court of Florida. Ms. Leyva also formed part of St. Thomas University Law School’s Trial Team and Intercultural Human Rights Law Review, and earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in First Amendment.

During her last year in law school, she was a law clerk at Sanchez Vadillo LLP. In April 2018, she joined the team at Sanchez Vadillo LLP as an Associate Attorney. She practices in the areas of Commercial and Residential Real Estate Transactions, Business Transactions and Secured Lending Transactions.
